Our team uses Planning Center Online for scheduling, practice and rehearsal, and Sunday logistics! Here’s how to use it so you’re prepared and helping your team be prepared:

1. Set up your Planning Center account through the welcome email you should have received. If you can’t find it for some reason, just let our staff know so we can resend it!
2. Download the Planning Center Services app on your mobile device (You can download it here for iOS or here for Android!) and allow notifications.
3. Log into the app using your email and password.
4. We’ll send out schedule requests at the end of every month—please confirm or decline your availability as soon as you can so we can shuffle people around as needed!
5. Click the “Add Blockouts” button to let us know in advance when you know you’ll be unavailable to serve on Rock Point Worship.*

<aside> ⚠️ You can schedule your blockouts as far out in advance if you can/want to, but please check that they’re accurate when we send our monthly reminder emails. That way there’s as little confusion as possible when we’re scheduling!

*Note that you do not need to let us know if you are already scheduled to serve as a volunteer at Rock Point Kids—they use Services to schedule as well, so we can already avoid double-booking you!

How do I use Services?

Scheduling in PCO Services is only one way our team uses this app. The best way is helping you prepare for Sunday!

When you’re scheduled, you’ll be able to see the Order of Service for the weekend. This will include song order and keys, relevant notes, assignments for singing, and access to chord charts and practice tracks—and more! Accessing Files

You can access files from the Order of Service by clicking on the name of the item (for example, the song name). Then, click the Files tab and access chord charts, MP3s, and more!

You can also access files from the Files tab under the Services menu!

<aside> ⚠️ As of October 2022, we do not yet allow all team members to see our song library. This is only organizational—the permissions level in PCO it takes for someone to see the whole library makes a disorienting amount of info visible. We are working on a way of making our full song catalogue available!
