Here’s what we need producers to do on Sunday morning at Rock Point Church!

| 7:00 AM | Arrive to assist staff with setup | This is a good time to discuss any challenges for the day ahead! • Set expectations for volunteers that they need to be ready to follow you for Q2Q and both services. • Make sure the light panel at the entrance of the booth is turned off. | | --- | --- | --- | | 7:30 AM | Band soundcheck and Q2Q (Cue-to-Cue rehearsal) | The Producer leads both teams during Q2Q—we want to practice the service as much as possible like service time will be. Don’t rush! Make sure Broadcast has what they need at every stage—it’s better to over-communicate than take anything for granted.

Important: Count down the end of the countdown video for everyone—including band. | | 8:15 AM | Team Walkthrough | During team walkthrough, ask any pertinent questions to provide clarity for team members. | | 8:25 AM | Sound Check for Pastors/Speakers | Make sure the Teaching Pastor and Host get their microphones and have a full soundcheck. Staff may want to be present for this. | | 8:30 AM | Volunteer prayer huddle in the Atrium | Everyone on our team should attend—troubleshooting can wait until after! | | 8:45 AM | Check speaker microphones | [1] Check mic placement (corner of mouth and slightly behind, not scraping on facial hair or cheek),

[2] Connection to pack is secure, and [3] Battery levels are 50%+. | | 8:50 AM | 1st Service Call Time / Prayer and comms check with Production Team | Have each operator test their mic in order, then pray for the team and get ready for the Countdown. | | 9:00 AM | First Service begins | Count down for everyone to start the service—5, 4, 3, 2, 1, go. Follow the service order, leading through transitions and any big notes from staff. | | 10:05 AM | First service ends; reset for second service | Make sure FOH is reset and ready for Second service, then help Broadcast pack away cameras and headsets. Address any feedback with staff and inform second service team of any changes needed! | | 10:35 AM | Check speaker microphones | [1] Check mic placement (corner of mouth and slightly behind, not scraping on facial hair or cheek),

[2] Connection to pack is secure, and [3] Battery levels are 50%+. | | 10:40 AM | 2nd Service Call Time | Time to get ready for second service! Encourage team members to keep their headsets on and review any necessary feedback that came from first service. | | 10:45 AM | Second service begins | Count down for everyone to start the service—5, 4, 3, 2, 1, go. Follow the service order, leading through transitions and any big notes from staff. | | 11:50 AM | Second service ends | [1] Retrieve microphones from pastors and speakers to put them away carefully in their containers, then [2] store them in the drawer beneath the mixer. Music and post-service graphics should be active until 12:00p. | | 12:00 PM | Shutdown in Worship Center | Once post-service is done, assist staff with shutdown and report any technical or personnel issues. Then get some rest! Thanks for serving 🙂 |

High Value Actions

  1. Set expectations with volunteers that it’s going to be a good day and they can trust you to lead them clearly.
  2. Lead the team through Q2Q.
  3. Check the pastors’ and speakers’ headset position and battery level before both services.
  4. Pray with the Production Team at 8:50 then send to stations.
  5. Count down to the beginning of the service for the whole team: A+B on comms as well as to the band. “Here we go, ten seconds. … Five, four, three, two, one, go.”
  6. Call cues for the Production Team so transitions are clear and smooth, and give feedback on quality as needed.
  7. Help the team reset between services and help shutdown after second service.
