We believe that the Bible is far more concerned with who we are becoming like than what we actually do when it comes to Sunday morning, so this is who we want to be as a team.
If our vision is a church that gathers to worship God through his Word, our values reflect the identity of a team that is sold out for this vision. Our heart for our team is that we would be united through a common vision of participating in the discipleship of our church and leading others to treasure Jesus with the gifts He has given us! That’s why we affirm these common values as members of Rock Point Worship:
We are dedicated to knowing, exalting, and treasuring Jesus Christ and to experiencing and sharing the Good News of His life, death, and resurrection for sinners! There is nothing more important than responding to the goodness of God through Christ than to worship Jesus with our whole lives. We worship Jesus as individuals saved by grace through faith alone and as a church gathered by grace. In a world where everything calls for our attention, we seek to focus the whole of our adoration and obedience on Jesus Christ by the power of the Holy Spirit. We will worship Jesus with joy, thanksgiving, passion, and devotion, captivated and satisfied only by His goodness.

“We treasure Jesus above everything else”
We are fully committed to being part of the local church and growing as disciples of Jesus who make more disciples of Jesus! That means we are invested in the discipleship process of our church: We gather as a church on Sundays to worship through the Word, we grow in small group discipleship, and we go by sharing the Gospel compassionately in our community.

And awe came upon every soul, and many wonders and signs were being done through the apostles. And all who believed were together and had all things in common. And they were selling their possessions and belongings and distributing the proceeds to all, as any had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts, praising God and having favor with all the people. And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” (Acts 2:42-47)

We believe there is great meaning in membership, covenanting with a local body of believers to “run with endurance, looking to Jesus” together.
