Producer Checklist

This is your “bible” for what to do as a producer on Sunday morning, so check this every week you serve!

Producer Checklist

What does the Producer do?

The producer leads the Production Team to support the worship leaders and pastors. That means keeping clear lines of communication, leading through high value transitions, and completing specific tasks to make sure everything goes well—as well as being able to respond to technical issues or emergency situations.

This video demonstrates how to lead through “cues” in a service as producer. It’s meant to be a reference only!

Skillset Training

Producer Skillset 1

The first skillset for Producers is learning how to lead the team through Q2Q and a service, calling transitions and communicating to the whole team.

Producer Skillset 2

Skillset 2 for Producers is the technical track, which may depend on previous experience. This is where you’ll learn the ins and outs of startup and shutdown, as well as basic configuration for all hardware in the Worship Center.

Producer Skillset 3

The third skillset for Producers is advanced tech and leadership, thinking about how things are put together to understand how to pivot when things go wrong as well as tackling specific leadership situations.
