New to video switching? Let's talk about what the job looks like!

Our church believes that the Sunday morning gathering is a gift from God that has two purposes: to join in his rightful praise to the glory of Jesus, and to be transformed by the Word of God as he promises to do. We will always prioritize the physical gathering of our church because that’s what Jesus prioritized for his church—but we recognize it is a good thing that we can broadcast our gathering for these reasons:

  1. It makes our gathering available for members in our congregation who are traveling, sick, or shut-in.
  2. It represents our church well to our community and new people interested in checking out Rock Point.
  3. It provides opportunities for members to rewatch sermons and sing again to songs during the week, which is helpful for discipleship and encouragement!

The Switcher’s job is to use our cameras and visuals to present the Word in our gathering clearly, compellingly, and beautifully to our online audience. What an opportunity!
